I live in Copenhagen, Denmark where I try to have fun and be a happy dude. I’m a freak on tea, healthy food, actionable buddhism, and soon to become one of tennis (again)… Currently, I work as a PhD fellow in the research group on Human-centered Computing at the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
I am writing up my PhD dissertation for the moment… In my research I explore how to (re)design healthcare IT to become more patient-centered. We apply a research-through-design approach, wherein designed prototypes act as vehicles to experiment with different and new healthcare practices while exploring central research questions in the same move.
The research takes place within the CITH project
Primary research areas are:
design research • design anthropology • medical informatics • sociology of health •
computer supported cooperative work • participatory design • science and technology studies
